Happy Birthday Dad!

Yay! My dad's birthday was yesterday and I feel bad that I couldn't get him anything so I just wanted to make sure he knows that I was thinking about him on his birthday even though I was at school. Now, he said specifically not to acknowledge the day but I'm going to do it anyway. (I never listened to you before so why would I now :P) I know it's a day late but a person's birthday I think is generally contained within the span of an entire week so I'm still in the green.

The reason that I want to wish my dad a happy birthday (Well several reasons) is because I genuinely love my dad and I'm not saying that just because he's my dad. If he were a horrible person I would probably stab him and then disown him, not even kidding, I have no tolerance for crappy parents. But lucky for him, he's not, he is a wonderful person and parent and I would just like to take a few words to appreciate that because there aren't many like him anymore. I know that I can be a difficult child but he still deals with all of my crap so instead of making a lot of paragraphs over the reasons why he is the best dad in the world I'm just going to make a list of all the reasons.

So here are 43 reasons (His age) why my dad is the greatest dad in the world!

1. I have the funniest dad in the world
2. He's very intelligent
3. He shuts up when I tell him to stop cussing 
4. He's open minded 
5. He gets over being angry very fast 
6. He makes the best scrambled eggs 
7. Also, very very good steak 
8. He watches lots of shows and tells me about them 
9. He's very good at chess
10. His Scooby Stories 
11. He recommends lots of comedians 
12. His back rubs 
13. He lets me steal his shirts 
14. He has a great laugh 
15. He's from California and not here 
16. He has the best taste in movies 
17. He worries 
18. He is great at listening to me rant about fictional gay ships 
19. He tries to understand those fictional gay ships 
20. He likes Scarlett Johannson as well
21. Our Kitchen conversations 
22. Snowfights!
23. He lets me make fun of him 
24. ...And beat up on him 
25. He has lots of advice on comedic timing 
26. Our arguments over Jessica Biel are hilarious!
27. He has always told me I was beautiful 
28. He understands almost all pop culture references 
29. He used to let me see movies that I was too young to see
30. He helped me to understand how important Quentin Tarantino is 
31. He'll swim with me 
32. He works very hard

34. He makes the best french toast 
35. He taught me everything I know about driving

37. He is very forgiving 
38. Doesn't lie or is terrible at lying
39. Always puts up with my teenage irritability

So there you have it! Obviously I have the greatest dad in the whole wide world and I love him more than he could ever know because 43 is a lot of reasons to love somebody.
